Nice park to stay in while visiting Six Flags Over Texas or anything in Arlington, Grand Prairie, etc. Also supposed to be one of the great fishing lakes in Texas although we don't fish. Most sites are not shaded where you would park but are shaded if you tent camp. Aluminum picnic tables (some covered). For me I wouldn't choose it for the PARK but more for its proximity to things.

| Nice RV Park -- GREAT location! | Situated 0.3 mile off I-35 in New Braunfels, this park is close to Schlitterbahn and Landa Park (Comel River). And only 30-40 minutes from Fiesta Texas and Sea World. Indoor heated pools & jacuzzis, weight room, game rooms, outdoor playgrounds & activities for kids (fee). Clean showers with plenty of hot water! Dog runs available. Some shady sites, some pull thru's. Passport America Sunday-Thursday nights. We will stay here again!

| Convenient to Galveston but Quieter! | I like to stay here because it's much quieter and more relaxed than staying in Galveston IMO. There's a nice little catch-&-release fishing lake (brackish water) on site with free fishing. Beach is across the highway about 3 minutes away. To go to Galveston via the free ferry takes about 40 minutes but we always see dolphins on the crossing! No shaded sites, but grassy areas and it's pet-friendly.

| Cheapest Place to RV on the Island | If you're going to SPI, I assume you're going for the beach. This park and the KOA are all that are avaiilable on the Island for camping.
This park racks 'em and stacks 'em. You are VERY close to your neighbors so I hope you like their music, smelling their cooking, and hearing their partying. However, you are a short bike ride to the Beach!! Plenty of monthly/seasonal renters, and the park stays fully booked all summer long. Also watch out for the sand burrs (they will be stuck EVERYWHERE!) and the ant hills. Do NOT go barefoot anywhere in the park!!!!
Also their rates have gone up so don't go by the rates on the website. And we don't use the showers/bathrooms so I can't comment on the cleanliness of those. So far, it's cheaper than the KOA next door.

| Nice Park Tucked Back in the Trees | Plus GREAT historical significance, with a Mission right on site and right on the Texas Independence Trail!
Quiet, shady park right in town, but secluded. Pool right across the highway (closed Wednesdays for cleaning). Mission on the grounds (fee extra to tour). Plenty of hiking/biking trails through the trees. If you want a quiet, shady park to enjoy nature and Texas history -- this is it!

| Nicest KOA I've stayed in! | The sites are level and some shaded. Lots of oak trees in this park make you feel like you're in the country! THey have a great snack shack on grounds with reasonably priced GOOD food and all-you-can-eat pancake breakfasts on the weekends. Small swimming pool and jacuzzi. Golf course next door. Nice big playground and hot-wheel type trikes to rent for the kiddos. There's even a creek on site where you can do some fishing!

| RV park close to Riverwalk | THis is where I stay when I have something to attend in the Convention Center. The bus stop to downtown is right across the street and it's a 15- minute ride to the Riverwalk! Level gravel pads and clean, well-kept grounds make it a pleasure to stay here. And you can't beat the convenience!

| RV comfort in the heart of the city!! | This park is tucked back between subdivisions and is centrally located to the Dallas- Ft. Worth area. It is about 15 minutes from Six Flags in Arlington. Shaded FHU sites, a small swimming pool, and well-kept grounds.

| Nice Park -- Great Fishing! | This is a typical 'marina' park with fishing being the top attraction. So they have boat launches, docks, gas, etc. It is also a fun family park and the swimming beaches are very popular. Sites can be very crowded and busy -- with tents, RV's, and boat trailers everywhere. They have a small grill/concession area on site, as well as a camp store. Some sites are shaded, and some can be unlevel. They have a few cabins, and a hotel-type building that is built above the water with rooms to rent. The fishing docks are open all night and my son caught a 18" catfish there!

| Constant-Level Inks Lake is a popular park! | Inks Lake is one of our 'frequent flyer' parks. Crowded during the summer (ESPECIALLY weekends) and holidays, but the Rangers are constantly on the prowl for too much imbibing or loud behavior. Consequently, things that could get out of hand never do. Great family park! The water is always cool and refreshing. Devil's Waterhole is a busy spot for families to 'hang out' together. Kayaks and canoes for rent along with guided tours of the Lake. 2 fishing piers are lighted at night. Hiking among the rocks and trails is another activity to keep families occupied. Some sites are lakefront; some are shaded. Lots of trees, deer and other wildlife throughout the park.
