| Reasonable rate and good facilities | No additional entrance fee to the park so camping rates were reasonable. Many choices of camp sites available. Even mix of young families in tents and retirees with expensive RVs and satellite dishes out front. Camp sites offered plenty of space. Large campground with bathrooms throughout. Shower houses were centrally located. Everything was neat and clean. Part of the campground was canopied by woods and the other portion was close to the lake.

Camp sites had reasonable space from your neighbors. Shower facilities located with the bathrooms. Sites were clean and neat. Sunset was stunning. Camping fees are reasonable, but make sure you have change. There is also a fee for your car, a fee if you pick a site with electricity and other various fees that could possibly apply. Nothing but the camping fee is in even dollars. Overall it was a reasonable rate, but it took several minutes to determine if I had paid ALL applicable fees just to camp for one night. Very convenient to lake though.

| Nice campground but a bit pricey. | Campground was nice. Running water at the campsite bathroom. Has wi-fi, shower and laundry facilities adjacent to the general store. A bit pricey for camping without utilities, but you are in Mesa Verde. Scenery was average. Very quiet and each camp site offers some privacy with surrounding greenery.

| Lite on amenities big on scenery | No potable water in this campground. No reservations. First come first serve. Fees were reasonable. Running water in the campground bathrooms, but no showers. Only a small number of camp sites available so fairly quiet. During my stay, all the campers were adults or families with mature children. Very laid back and relaxed vibe. If you have a 4wd vehicle, ask the rangers for some back road ruins to visit. Site is nestled at the edge of the canyon with a stunning view of Fajada Butte at sunset.

Each camp site has a shelter with two screened walls over the picnic table. Offers relief from the sun or wind and a bit of privacy. The setting is quite nice. Several faucets throughout the campground for potable water. Bathrooms were clean as were the showers. The fire pits had grates for cooking. One of the nicer camp grounds that I have visited and a bargain at $16 with no additional entrance fee. We camped two nights. The first was for exploring Goblin and the second was to hike the Little Wild Horse and Bell Canyon Loop which is about ten minutes from Goblin's camp grounds.

Tent sites had lush green grass (in the desert). Made for a comfortable tent base. Everything was clean, neat and well maintained. The showers were great after a long day hiking. Most of the fire pits had a grate for cooking. They had a utility sink for washing dishes. Staff was helpful. Campground was five minutes from the grocery store and restaurants in Moab. They even had wi-fi. Would gladly stay again.
