| Beautiful setting but not the best services. | beautiful setting but, services needed maintenance. I stayed in wittleton campground. Electrical boxes not water resistant and power outlets dirty but functional. Dump station not working well at all. Bathrooms in need of repair. Toilets tippy and leaking. Shower stalls water flow limited to the point of not being usable. Firewood for sale was damp and wouldnt burn well at all. Power and water hookups very distant from site and on the wrong side. Sharing of power connection was required and only one 30 amp connection per box. They did have 50 amp connections but they were very very dirty from lack of use and lack of maintenance.
Otherwise, very nice. Note: All other campgrounds in the area were no hookups at all.

| Really nice, deep forrest/mountain/creek setting | I was in site 48. not next to the creek but I could hear it. Deep forest setting, many many trees, up in the mountains. Very clean bath house, any problems cropped up they were on tip of fixing it. Current owner has had it only 6 years and still has some differed repairs from previous owner to complete but are on top of any problems. Very friendly. Beautiful setting. Web site does it justice. Only draw back. Some sites are to small for some RVs and some sites are hard to get an RV into but it is still a breath taking setting. All sites graveled or dirt but hard pack. Handy camp facilities are very limited. so not recommended for handy camp camping. Big rigs may have difficultly getting parked but camp ground owner is very good at helping campers park. When making reservations they will ask the size of your rig and are very good at judging if you can fit on a site or not. Dog friendly.

Nice camp sites. Gravel with Concrete pads for under your awning. Easy to reach hookups, Clean and well kept. Bath houses are excellent and well kept. Laundry clean and well maintained. Trolley bus stop right in the campground so you can catch the city trolley to go shopping and just leave the vehicle at the campground. Easy and close access to the Great Smokey Mountains National Park.

| Shared unmaintained hookups. | It has been a long time since I have been there. Several years. Sites share power and water connections. Bring extra extensions. Electrical boxes were not maintained and some in need of repairs. One bath house and is a bit of a distance from most sites.

Campground is nice. Only a few RV sites but many tent sites. Tent sits are quite a hike to the bath house but the RV sites are fairly close. Some RV sites are out in the sun. For more information: Check out http://parks.ky.gov/findparks/recparks/lm/

| Not for the faint of heart. | This one is for those looking for a bit more of a challenge. Only a few sites even close to level. Sites are rough and not level. Bring lots of blocks and leveling equipment. Power boxes and water connections are very oddly placed and a bit of a stretch from the campsites so bring extra extensions and hoses.

This one has many sites that are off level. Last time I was there the electrical boxes were in fairly bad shape. They have one water and one electric box for 2 sites and are placed oddly requiring extra extensions to be able to connect. Some sites are quite a hike to the bath house as well. Though it is a very well shaded campground.

| Location incorrect on this web site. | Actual map location is GPS Coordinates: 36 44 15.30 N, 87 59 58.25 W You can enter these in google maps and it will take you right to their gate house.
Otherwise, Very nice campground caters to horses. Here is their web site.
