Grounds immaculate, people friendly, playground fabulous, laundry clean & bright. Sites beautifully landscaped & laid out, lots of green space.
Incredible views of VA hills & countryside, including the neighboring farm complete with sheep & a llama. Peaceful. Gorgeous sunsets.
Showers clean and large with HOT water. Free wi-fi.
Only suggestion would be that recycling be made available.
This was supposed to be a one-night stop for us, but we ended up staying longer. It was so nice. We were sorry to leave and will be back!

| All the worst of Long Island | Crumbling facilities and NYS bureaucracy run amok.
Our rig is a class B towing a travel trailer. The B is our tow vehicle because we have a lot of kids & need a potty on the road. I always explain this because it's an unusual combination. Made a non-refundable reservation for 50 amp in good faith, arrived & checked in to find we were given 30 amp (which left us w/o A/C). At 10:00pm we were yelled at by the self-appointed "security" guy for having 2 RVs on one site. Eventually we were forced to pay in full for a 2nd site.
Showers: worst I've ever seen. Bathrooms disgusting. Wasps in electrical hook-ups. Airplane traffic incredibly loud. Right next to the dump, so garbage trucks were constant. A fair amount of green space, but everything was rundown at best. Playground was tiny and decrepit.
If you don't have to stay here, don't. If you do have to stay here - don't.

| Very quiet, not for families w/ small kids | Only stayed one night. Dual 30 amp and 50 amp hookup, pull-through, level dirt/grass site.
Friendly folks, very quiet. Beautiful spot on the reservoir, although potentially dangerous for young kids. Playground was nice, but right next to a steep drop-off into the water. Very rural.
No wifi. Showers were clean and warm (not hot) but were on a timer which was annoying.
Lots of domestic-gone wild rabbits around, which were cute & fun to watch. There was a huge rainstorm the night we were there and we woke up to a 5-inch deep puddle (lake!) right outside the door.
Would stay again.

| Nice lake activities, LOUD freeway | Only stayed 1 night. Nice level paved pull-thru, dual 30 amp and 50 amp hook up.
The pool (right next to the playground) was nice, but the water was uncomfortably warm on a hot day.
The playground was nice.
We ordered dinner from the on-site cafe, which was great because it was cheap and they delivered to our site. The food itself was just ok & we had to wait quite a while.
The freeway is VERY loud, and VERY close.
The slides & other activities at the lake looked fun, but there was an extra per day charge and our kids aren't old enough.
Laundry room was super clean & nice.
We didn't get a chance to use the bathhouse because the water & power was shut off, which was inconvenient to say the least. The water to our site was also shut off.
All in all we probably won't stay here again, although if you're looking for a quick stop right off 95 it's ok.

Great store, super friendly folks. Beautiful river and old bridges but potentially dangerous for toddlers/ young kids. They did have a nice playground (complete with a wooden train). Easy drive to railroad museum, Amish House and quaint downtown. Laundry and bathrooms very clean, hot showers. Neighbors an Amish dairy farm, lots of horse and cart buggies.

| Creek and grounds are beautiful! | As nice as Pennsylvania gets! Can't say enough good things about the natural beauty. The creek and grassy banks/woods are storybook perfect. The covered bridge and 1876 barn (which now houses the office & store) added ambiance and charm. Perfectly quiet and peaceful.
Staff was friendly and helpful.
Playground is fantastic, the kids loved playing on all the big rocks & in the puddles too. :-)
Store a little bare, but had the very basics.
Sites are not level or paved, entire campground is on a hill. We could not get level using our (very basic) ramps.
We didn't use the pool, but from a distance it looked fine.
Bathrooms very clean, HOT water which was great. Showers a little grungy but not terrible. Probably wouldn't have used them w/o flip flops.
Laundry serviceable but expensive. Coin-operated machines.
