| Immaculate, well maintained | Nice large spaces. Concrete pads, well maintained. Nice new bathrooms and laundry room. Stayed here one night just passing through. Didn’t use casino, but hotel area seemed clean. Well landscaped, great stop-over.

| Should be called Parking lot instead of campground | Stayed here in a class a motorhome. The sites are right on top of each other, with very little grass and mainly dirt in between. Definitely not dog friendly. There is barely any green space to walk your dog. The map shows large trees and green areas surrounding the park, these do not exist. It is all been turned into parking for golf carts. Most guests have a golf cart that they drive through the sites constantly. Continual traffic, barely any space for the kids to play anywhere near your site. We stayed near the beach, so it was nice to be close, but I would definitely not come back. Very noisy all night long. Guests do not adhere to quiet times. Mini- golf course was lame and basic. Water-park was geared to much younger kids. This park is one big noisy traffic jam.

Nice KOA with all the usual amenities. Well maintained. Mature trees. Only 4 miles from the Corn Palace. Great stop on the way to the Badlands/Mt. Rushmore. Would stay here again.

Friendly staff, nice pool, well maintained. Some highway noise, but worth it for the convenience. It has playground for kids, and fenced dog park area. Pretty grounds.

| Average-9 miles from the falls | We stayed for 3 nights in a motorhome. Sites are on top of each other. Staff is rude. Small park for the kids. Right on top of the road. Construction going on during our stay, so constant noise during the day. Road noise is always heard, plus there is a train nearby that can be heard as well. Sites and roads are rocks. Not even crushed gravel. There are no places onsite or nearby for going for a walk or biking. Small area for dog walking, also right on the road. Also has a pool at park entrance. The only benefit is the distance to the falls. $70/night is over-priced for what you get, but it's all about location.

| Planes, trains, and automobiles - not exactly quiet | This park is located right off of a major roadway, airport runway, and train tracks. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is not the place. The lots are so close together you hardly have any privacy. If you are tying up the dog, he will easily be at your neighbors trailer or checking out other nearby dogs. The rocks they use for the roads are the big rigid ones, so leave the bikes at home. That was a disastrous combo for the kids. Boat rentals were not operating during our stay, so that was disappointing. Pool was okay. Walking paths - once again covered in large 'ankle rolling' rocks. Website highly overstates what the park actually looks like.

| Average campground. Friendly staff. | The campground was under construction during our stay. Average campground. Small park for kids 5 and under. Pool was closed during our stay, but also small and average. Overall nothing spectacular, friendly staff.

| Functional but not quiet or scenic | We were in town for a wedding and used this campsite as an overnight stay. The campsites are right next to each other and also right next to the highway. There is also a train nearby which can be heard throughout the night. The bathrooms were fairly clean with private showers. The host was friendly and helpful. Pets are welcome.

This camp site had excellent programs for children! Each day there was a camp leader that would stop by our site and take the kids on a 1-hour learning/exploring adventure. They learned how the sand dunes were formed, native animals and how they protect/disguise themselves, etc. Camp sites are walking distance to the beach and sand dunes. I would definitely stay here again. Clean bathrooms and private showers.
