A nice beachfront campground

This state-operated beach campground is nice. Though it's more rock than sand, it's great for some fun in the water. It can get very crowded on weekends, though, especially in the summer, as it's a popular campground. The beachfront sites are very hard to get and if you want them you need to reserve them in advance. There are no hookups and no shade. If the wind blows hard, you will get salt spray on your rig, which can lead to rusting if you're not careful about it. It's a really nice park, but make sure you come here early or late in the season to avoid the crowds.

We stayed here in a Travel Trailer.
