Great views of the lake!

We stayed at the fairview campground which is a few miles away from but still part of the Tim's Ford state park. The fairview location is right on the lake with great views and allows for larger rigs. We have a 36' fifth wheel and it fits great. The fairview campground doesn't have playgrounds or hiking trails. It does have really level lots. BRING AN EXTRA WATER HOSE. Some of the sites share water and it might be far off. The sites are gravel with paved access roads. We really enjoyed it.
Now, the main campground. It doesn't allow for larger than 35 and even that would be tight. it does have a large pool and miles of paved bike and hiking trails and several playgrounds for the kids. There are plenty of activities to stay busy, if that's your objective. The sites are paved and level despite being on sloped terrain.

We stayed here in a 5th Wheel.
