Beautiful location. Sites are nicely spaced. Must make reservation. In July I was lucky to get a site 3 weeks in advance, and only 1 night was available. Nearest showers are a drive back to Estes Park (for $6 each in the laundromat) Nice, pea-gravel tent pads & parking areas.Ours had enough room for a second tent behind the van. But the firepit was almost touching the edge of our tent on the pad, so that wouldn't have been an option. Some pit toilets, some bathrooms with water (nothing fancy, basic NP camp bathrooms) They supposedly had a place to shower if you brought your own shower bag, but that bathroom was closed when we were there so I couldn't see it).
We stayed here in a Tent. | | Comments (0) |

Must make reservations early!! Many beautiful and private sites, but some less so. Avoid pull-thru sites. Too close to roads, and not many sites can handle big rigs. No hookups, but flush toilets in summer, dump station, and convenient water. B loop outside edge sites are very good, beautiful views. Convenient to shuttle service. We stayed 4 nights.
