What this place fails to tell you in their info is that the park has a very active freight train track running right through the middle of it with a track crossing in the park. What this means is that trains run through constantly with crossing warning horns blaring 24/7. You can forget about sleeping at night without waking up nearly hourly by being blasted out of bed, not to mention the vibrations of 150+ freight cars and engines going by. We were NOT camped next to the tracks, but about 200 feet down from them. There were however, sites right the tracks on both sides! The sites are very small, and crammed together. What was also disturbing was the Sheriff's Dept seemed to be in there numerous times during the 2 nights we stayed there. I wouldn't recommend this park to my worst enemy.
We stayed here in a Travel Trailer. | | Comments (0) |
