With all the things to do from fishing,hiking,canoeing/kayaking,exploring the shops and fun things to do around cooksburg if your bored it's your fault. We come here at least once a year. even the grand kids don't get too bored.

We stayed here in a Teardrop Trailer.

The campground (known as Ridge Campground) is decent size with electric only. We stayed in the smaller pet section with decently level sites. Depending on the angle of the site you can be pretty close to your neighbor so pick your site wisely. There are amazing hiking trails right from the campground that will take you by some of the tallest and largest trees in eastern half of the US.

We stayed here in a Class C Motorhome.

This campground is very easy to get lost in. The location is perfect and it is a nice area for bike riding. It is near an area where people hunt so you don't want to wander off too far in the woods. Overall the campground is nice, and with everything there is to do, you'll never be bored.
