Local Directions: From Interstate 68 use Exit 34 for State Route 36/New Georges Creek Road. Go South towards Westernport for 6.5 miles. You will go through the Town of Midland. As you are entering the town of Lonaconing veer left/straight at the sign for Dan’s Mountain State Park onto Water Station Run Road SW. Follow this road and the signs up the mountain for 1.8 miles. Turn right onto Recreation Area Road SW and follow it for approximately ½ mile into the main area of the park. *If you find yourself in the Town of Lonaconing you have gone too far and need to turn around on Rt.36 and look for Water Station Run Road.
