We tried to go to Waheap in the National Park but could not. So we went to Lake Powell Campground and are happy we did. While there is no view of the lake, they make up for it in comfort and friendliness. We had campsite #19 and was good shade most of the day. If you like golf as a side dish they offer a great course with fantastic views and moderate challenge. I would stay there again and the rates are far better than Waheap on the lake.

We stayed here in a Class A Motorhome.

We only paid $25 per night for staying at this campground. For the service we got, I think that was pretty cheap, even after adding $3 to that rate for cable TV. The site we got was long and wide. It slopes a little, but leveling wasn't a problem. We had full hookups and everything worked as they should. Just be ready with a long hose for the sewer as it's a bit far off to the side. The staff were very friendly and helpful and they keep the place neat and clean. The park is obviously old, but it's still charming. We intend to stay here again soon.

We stayed here in a Travel Trailer.
