| Lovely place for getting away | |
We stayed here for a couple of weeks earlier this year and we had such a marvelous time, thanks largely to the efforts of the owners. They're very welcoming and they really made us feel like we're home while we stayed there. The campground has immaculate scenery and is close to local attractions such as the Blue Ridge Parkway. The grounds are well maintained, the facilities are immaculate, and the pond is well stocked so fishing is a joy. The sites are roomy, with concrete patios and a picnic table. They have sewer, electric and water hookups, but no cable or wi-fi at the site, which is why I didn't give them a perfect score. We really had a fun and relaxing time here, and we can't wait to return next season.
