Great place to stay. Many things to do, but still relaxing.

Arrived August 2nd

Departed August 4th

It was just a quick get away for us. We have been there one other time and had a great time so we wanted to go back. We stayed in site 703 next to the pond. This was a great spot. Everyone at Spring Gulch was very friendly and helpful.

Site

Our site was perfect. We had a great view of the pond, easy to get in and out of. There was plenty of room on both sides so we did not feel like we were on top of each other. Looking at the map of the park, most spots look good. If you are on the upper level I don't think there is a bad spot to park a camper. Some sites are not as wide or deep as others, but when you call to make your reservations they should be able to help navigate you to the right size spot. Sites 200 to 400 on the lower level are nice for trailers but again ask about the size restrictions when you call. Navigating around some of the roads can be tricky. I took the wrong way to get to my site and had a difficult time getting my trailer over the bridge. There was an alternative route that was much easier had I asked the best way to get there.

Playground

The lower play ground was small, more geared towards younger kids. We road by the upper playground and there seemed to be more for kids there. My kids love a good playground, but with so many other things to do this was not an issue.

Pool

There are two, one in the upper campground and one in the lower.

We stayed here in a Travel Trailer.

We had a great time here. The sites are good size. They have two pools and a swim lake. Bath houses were clean. Tons of things to see and do in the towns all around the park. We will go back again!!

We stayed here in a Travel Trailer.
