If you like camping by the beach and do not mind the wind then this is the place to go. It is a long haul from Port. St. Joe out to the park. There is a trading post outside the park that carries a lot of necessary items that one might need. Only a couple of restaurants nearby. One side of our camper faced the dunes at the beach and the back was against a dune from the bay. A low hanging limb ripped off my TV antenna so we had no TV to watch in the rainstorms that we endured the two nights we were there. We were there when a cold front went through from west to east so the 14' waves sounded like they were coming into the camper. The camper rocked from the high winds....

We stayed here in a 5th Wheel.
