Local Directions: North from Jackson, MS on I-55: Take Exit 150 Durant. There will be a sign stating Holmes County State Park. Keep to the right. The park office is 1 ½ miles off the interstate. There is a flag pole to the left. Turn left at the flag pole and there is the park office. South from I-55 from Memphis or Grenda: Take Exit 150 Durant. Turn left and cross over the bypass. Keep straight 1 ½ miles. There is a flag pole to the left. Turn left and there is the park office.

Litter was all around the park. The hiking trails are non-existent. Trails have been washed out. Wooden piers and bridges are worn out with rotten boards.

We stayed here in a Travel Trailer.
