Hitching and Unhitching By Yourself
Hello. Total newbie here. I watched a video about the proper way to hitch and unhitch a fifth wheel and it looked like it would be pretty difficult to do by yourself without someone spotting. Is that true?

Re: Hitching and Unhitching By Yourself
Hell of a lot easier than a TT. Even in my crew cab, I can see the hitch and know when I'm off. I =used= to be good with trailers, back when I was farming and hooking up to a trailer on a daily basis, sometimes multiple times a day. Now, I'm =way= out of practice. :-)

Hey Alban,

Hitching and unhitching an RV by yourself takes some practice, but it's not impossible. Here's a link that you can check out to help you out: http://www.campingroadtrip.com/outdoor-living-newsletter-march-2010/how-to-hook-up-your-rv.

Good luck!
