Saving Gas
Here are 2 of the most simple and effective ways to save gas:

1. Drive slower, especially from a standstill.

It takes a massive amount of energy to get an RV moving from a standstill, much like it takes a great amount of energy to get anything that is very heavy rolling. If you are heavy on the gas pedal your engine will consume more gas than if you are light on the gas pedal, and it will cause more wear and tear on your engine. So give the gas pedal and your engine a break - you'll end up conserving more fuel.

2. Allow a considerable amount of room between you and the vehicles ahead of you.

When driving your RV on the highway or local roads, allowing a considerable amount of distance between you and the vehicle ahead of you will prevent you from having to use the brakes and gas pedal as much. When you see cars stopping you can simply glide to where they are stopped, rather than do the gas/brakes shuffle. This strategy for conserving fuel has an added benefit - it keeps you safer.
