| Disappointed in Moraine Campground | The Lee Vining campgrounds are spread out along the creek and most are waterfront. Very primitive camping but that's what we like and even with the California drought, there was plenty of water to support the great Trout fishing. It's always been a favorite but this time we camped close to the camp host. They had 4 dogs that barked constantly and they had an extra family with them who were very loud. We could hear their conversations above the sound of the water late into the night and first thing in the morning.

Not too many sites and had only a few that can accommodate larger RVs or trailers. Our 28' trailer fit just fine. Once you're in, it's great. Had access to amazing hiking and close to Yosemite NP. We'll return as often as possible.

Very clean and spacious sites. Water, electric, sewer on all RV sites. Very reasonable price. We saw elk, otters, Eagles. It's a great location with fairly easy access to Crater lake. The logging museum was nice and the river is beautiful.

Very tight parking, no tables, no fire ring, no room to park after unhooking, lots of dog poop, and way too many permanent residents. When you have permanent res you have trouble: druggies, dirty and unkept RV/ sites. Just not good!

It's a nice RV park which means there's little space between sites. No restrictions on pets- one close to us had 6 dogs!! Clean first rate showers and restrooms but there are only a few. Great location by the river and close to town- we rode bikes to town and had a great time

I gave two stars because of the good location- proximity to Canadian border crossing And low price, otherwise it would have got only one. The men's bathroom was horrible and the ladies was closed for repair. So they put a sign on the ladies door stating the men's is "co-Ed" but there's no lock on the doors and no division of time for the ladies so it's ridiculous. There are mostly full time residents in this park and many looked like addicts. If I had kids I wouldn't let them out of my sight as there were some very shady people walking around this place all day ( as in unemployed shady characters).

We almost didn't go due to the stated 21' max but we're happy to find that there are numerous sites that will accommodate much larger rigs. We have a 28' trailer plus the truck and had no problem getting a site right by the river. We found the same situation in the Sol Duc area too. For $12 a night you can't beat it. Beautiful walks, Elk, Bald eagles, etc. Clean restrooms and a dump station as well.
