| Love Trains? Love RVing? This is the place for you! | Great location for sightseeing in the lower Alabama area! This fairly new park offers extra fun with two different scale ride on trains, G scale garden railroad, Lional trains and HO trains. While the guys are playing trains the gals can head to the outlet mall! Nice meeting facilities (although overrun with train track display, nice inside pool and lake.

| New campground - almost a 4 star | This fairly new campground is still being landscaped and maturing and the staff is helpful and willing to please. This campground is located on the southern edge of Milledgeville which has previously been the capital of Georgia. Lots of history and sightseeing especially those that are interested in the Civil War and Sherman's March to the Sea.

| Best Campground for Seeing Chattanooga | This campground is the best in the area for sightseeing in the Chattanooga area. The campground itself is actually in Georgia andis on the site of a Civil War battle. You could spend a week here visiting all the local attractions and Camping World is nearby! Helpful staff and a great place for rallies.

| Nice pull off along I-75 and good rally site | Our RV club has used this site many times for a rally - the staff has been most helpful over the years and the facilities although becoming dated are very clean.

| Delightful camping and rally site | This campground is most delightful to use for a rally with helpful staff and large meeting space. Staff helped with the parking. The campsites are nestled among large pines and the campground is along a nice lake with fishing. Nearby is the town of Metter and Vidalia (famous onions) and also Claxton where you can get the famous fruitcakes.

This is one of our favorite stopping places on our way to Florida. Easy to access and with large pull thru sites. Friendly family run and owned. This campground is in a pecan grove and you are welcome to pick your own (and we do). We did not use the laundry or restrooms. The best peach preserves/jelly is available nearby at Adcocks! Don't forget to take extra jars home for friends.

| Great for tents, and small trailers or short RV's. | This is a beautiful park with very helpful workers but to access the campground you need to climb a VERY steep and winding road and remember you need to go back down with good brakes! I believe the length limit is 20 feet. This is the perfect place for tents and truck campers and perhaps tent trailers. That being said, there is great hiking and great climbing with wooden steps along the water falls. The cabins are near the campground and the lodge is nearby with great food. At the base of the mountain is the dump station, picnic area, and wonderful interactive nature center. This is a great place to start your hike to the Len Foote Hike-Inn (5 miles and reservations needed) or to the start of the Appalachian Trail. This is NOT the place for large Class A motorhomes or large 5th wheels!

| Delightful RV Park for those desiring the best. | We have watched this campground develop over the years into a top notch campground that is beautifully maintained and a favorite for rallies by numerous clubs. The staff is most helpful and the meeting rooms and kitchens among the best. Many things to do in the area from shopping in Highlands, NC to eating at the Dillard House.

| Wonderful location near shopping, dining, and activities | This campground was created by the city of Hoover for the annual SEC Baseball Tournament which is held in the adjacent Regions Field (end of May or early June- park is full then)and is also the home to the Birmingham Barrons Baseball team. The campsites are all on blacktop and all are pull-thrus that can only hold your RV (up to 45 foot) park you car next to coach. All sites have 50 amp service, water, and sewer. No shade as yet but trees are growing. Great place for walking and catching a game or two if the Barrons are at home. There are NO bathrooms so only self contained units. We have held two rallies here in conjunction with the Barrons and the catered food at the stadium was excellent. Free WiFi Great shopping nearby including The Galleria, Super Target, and Walmart. Many excellent restaurants.also nearby.
