This place is not ideal for a private getaway with the family. The beach access is through the parking lot of a very busy nightclub across the street so there was a bunch of broken glass and litter everywhere including in the sand on the beach. The noise and lights from the area nightclubs prevented us from enjoying quiet evenings and restful sleeps. The traffic in the area is very busy as well contributing to the noise. The bathrooms are in serious need of attention; holes in walls, peeling wallpaper/paint, broken doors/locks, etc. On the plus side, the laundry room was clean and the store was well stocked.

Our family usually travels back and fourth between GA and FL so this site is perfect. It is right off of I-95 so its an easy stop on our way to FL. The park is very clean, with well maintained grounds, and shaded sites if you want. We live in South Florida so we always try to visit the waffle house across the street since we have none at home. The rate was pretty fair at around 20 a night but they had no special amenities which I would have appreciated. I would recommend trying this location at least once!

The only big issue I had with this site was that it was overrun by permanent residents. Otherwise, it was an overall pretty decent site. The amenities were clean, there was controlled access to the beach across the road, the park is secure with key card access. excellent pools, etc. The staff was also extremely friendly which is always a plus in my book. The sites are spacious and surrounded by shrubs so you have some privacy. They have beaitful waterfront sites but you have to get there early for those. Finally, no late checkouts so be prepared to leave by noon.

This place is definitely on our "return to" list. It was a very nice and well taken care of COE campground. The hosts were very helpful. Many of the spots to hook-up or tent up are in sight of the beautiful lake front. The bath house was close to the hook-ups and clean. My satellite dish worked out a lot better than i thought it would have considering our location. The negatives: no sewer and no internet access, thats it! Great cell phone service so if you have a cell internet you will be in fine shape and the campground is close to restaurants and shopping which make everything so convenient

This place contains large sites, well kept grounds, and pleasant staff. All sites are on the lake and paved and level. There is a beach and hiking trails as well as boat access and fishing piers. The bathrooms were clean with a washer and dryer at each one. Most sites have a view of the lake. The host was very nice and was seen quite often riding his bike through the campground checking on things. Just need to amp up the electricity wiring so that it has a little more oomph but this place still got the job done for us.

This place would have been great if my family was not big on customer service. The kids are constantly asking for help as are my husband and myself. The manager here was rude, did not want to help us with our cable hook-up or enforce our noise complaint (we had an early morning the next day, otherwise we would not have complained). This site is home to the Bluegrass festival which I hear is a great time but we missed it this year. There is a quaint little lake on site and the kids did love the complimentary golf cart each guest receives. With the removal of that caddy helper, this place would get 5 stars from us!

The only good thing I can say about this camp site is that it had a pool which was semi-clean, I wouldnt bring a health inspector around! Everything else went downhill. The cable was going in and out, the internet connection they had was not working, and their game room was no better than my old box of monopoly. I expected a lot more from this place and they have a great location, they just need to tweek the place just a bit. It was a little hard for us to hook-up our cables too.

We had the pleasure of staying at this site during the Speckled Perch Festival at Lake Okeechobee. The festival was amazing as well as the site. They had a restaurant on site, fishing, boat rentals, a game room, hot showers, etc. It was like country club on the side of the road! The staff was very friendly and the place was entirely too clean (never complained about that before). I will definitely be visiting this campground again!

| LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION | The location of this site and the super friendly staff are what get this campgroud sucha high rating. There was a small playground, clean restrooms and the showers were individual in the main building. It was very quiet especially since it was so close to the highway, and propane was cheaper than we've gotten elsewhere. The had their little store which was fairly well stocked and really convenient. Their mini kitchen will take orders until 7:30 PM. Overall, a good experience. Would most likely return.

This got a medium rating just because of the kids. If they dont have a great time, we don't have a good time. This location had a nice pool, and laundry available ($1 each washer/dryer), but nothing for kids. The management was helpful even though they closed the office mid-day. The resort is close to grocery stores, restaurants, Tampa airport, and Tampa beaches. It was great to have all that nearby to drive the kids out for entertainment.
