| Taking Advantage of Its Location | To say that we were disappointed about this campground would be an understatement. We decided to stay here because it is the closest RV park to the Grand Canyon. That was, unfortunately, the only good thing about this place. The sites were just dirt, not very level, and rather tight. The restrooms were very dirty and many of the stalls did not have any toilet paper. There was no WiFi and no laundry. Also, for a reservation that ranges $40-$50 a night, you would expect that the use of the showers will be free of charge, but not in this campground. You would need to pay separately each time you use the shower, which I think was just too much.

This is one of my favorite campgrounds in Arizona. It's a beautiful place and the sites are only a few feet from the water. It's great for swimming, boating and fishing, and if you want some land-based fun, there's the casino nearby. Full hookup sites are available, and although the bathrooms need some updating, they are clean. We love it here and we look forward to visiting every year.

| Don't miss this park if you're in the Carmel area | Julia Pfieffer Burns SP is one of the prettiest state parks we've been to in CA. The views here are magnificent; the McWay Falls alone makes the trip to this park worthwhile. Prepare to dry camp and make sure to bring everything with you when you get to your campsite, though. The campground is a good half mile away from the parking lot, and the nearest village - Big Sur - is 20 miles away. Campsites are level and clean. There are porta-potties and faucets with cold water.

| Pricey for a dry camping place | For the hiking and the views it offers, Salt Point is a beautiful state park. I give it that. But for $35 a night, I can easily get a full hookup site elsewhere. Here, it's dry camping and the gravel spot on the campsite is not even level. Sure, the place is clean, and it does have restrooms and a dump station. But still... I don't think the price was worth what I got for my stay here.

| Bare-bones campsite but comfortable | This campground is very basic and doesn't have a lot of the amenities you'll typically find in destination campgrounds. Nonetheless, it's a comfortable place to stay and convenient for visiting Niagara Falls. The sites have good pads that made leveling easier. There are full hookup sites. Some of these sites are in the shade while some are out in the open, so you should reserve the site you want before coming here. Also, you'll get a bit of road noise if you happen to get a spot close to the road, but it's not as bothersome as being parked next to an interstate. They've got full hookup sites, but no wi-fi. It's also impossible to get satellite signal if you're in the shaded area, but they've got cable TV.

If you are planning a short trip in and around WV, this is a nice campground to stay. The sites are well-spaced from each other and wide enough to fit large RV units without any problems. The showers were a bit worn out and the stalls were rather small, but they are clean, nonetheless. Each of the sites were also provided with a picnic table, water taps and a garbage can. There is a playground for the kids to play in and a biking trail where you and the kids can go biking. But other than that, there really isn't much to do here. It's great for short stays, like a few days, or if you are just looking for a place to stay for the night. But I wouldn't recommend it for those who are looking for an RV campground to stay for a long time.

| Finding a level spot is a challenge | Just like most national park campgrounds, Mt. Pisgah Campground is beautiful. It doesn't have any hookup sites and we couldn't get any signal, but that's the point of unplugging and getting away from the city anyhow. It's a bit tricky to get a level site in this campground, though, because the park is built on a slope. But if you can get level, you can just sit back, relax and enjoy the quiet here.

We absolutely love this RV park! It's very clean and well maintained. Their staff was really friendly and accommodating. The weather here during April is perfect for you to relax at their own private mini beach.

| Nice location but not big-rig friendly | Indian Cove is a good spot to go camping inside Joshua Tree, but not if you have a big rig. The roads inside the campground were too narrow to navigate with a large motorhome and the site we got was too narrow as well. No hookups or showers, just pit toilets. They don't have water or a dumpsite either. The use of generators was limited to only a few hours and at certain times in a day. If you're camping in a tent or a small trailer, this place is perfect. But if you have a big rig, I think Jumbo Rocks Campground is a better option.

| New Orlean's Best Kept Secret | We actually came across this campground by accident, and we're so glad that we did. The sites may be small, but manageable. The facilities were spotless. The hosts were great! Would definitely come back.
