I went hiking on the Loyalsock trail and stayed at Worlds End campground. It was pretty inexpensive and the campground is right off the road, right when you get to the park. Not great in the peak season since it is so accessible, this is like the only place people go to!. The sites were actually really nice – they had big piles of wood chips for a very cushy tenting area. If you haven't slept on a rocky ground with a few token sticks, you don't know how heavenly this was! The campground had rustic shelters/cabins if that's your thing, and I think the campground was actually quite large given the area. It does get a little crowded during the tourist season though. Showers and bathrooms are on both loops of the grounds, so its convenient.

This campground was pretty great in terms of cost, I think it was about $20 per night for a site. I wasn't a big fan of the campsite just because of the amount of people. I went in the summer in late July and it was just hard to find good campsites, as most of the campgrounds were pretty full. The sites were pretty close together so you really heard your neighbors and traffic coming in and out. This one had a store and laundry onsite. But you had to pay for a shower. Overall it was fine, but I would have rather done the backcountry the whole time, where you didn't have to see so many people and share space. If you want easy access to everything, and don't want to hike into a site, this site would be fine for both tenting and parking your rv

Fairly large campground, with plenty of sites. I tented there for a few nights in the summer. Rates are very reasonable given that it was prime time beach season, they had a nice pool, and clean bathroom/shower facilities. No issues with theft and everyone was very nice and respectful. I camped there three nights and was able to leave everything up during the day when I left. There were a fair amount of trees left standing, I lwas able to loop my hammock up in the camp site and it was nice and shady. The location was perfect for me, very close to the beach and all the shops. Easily accessible, restaurants and bars were close by. I would recommend this site to anyone, fairly cheap to reserve a camp site. I guess it varied by tent vs rv site
