This KOA had a lot of things that made our stay quite enjoyable. The beach is only ten minutes away. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There's a nice water area for the kids and while the pool isn't too big, it was nice and inviting. The grounds were very clean and well-tended. The sites are larger than your typical KOA sites and had full hookups all working properly. There's also cable TV and wi-fi although the wi-fi isn't free. The only thing I didn't like about this KOA is, it's not really well-designed for big rigs. You'd need some help from the staff to get your rig parked properly, and maneuvering through the narrow roads can be tricky.

| A snowbird destination in Texas | It's a nice place to spend winter in. Lots of activities, and there's always something coming up. They've got a craft room and workshop. The roads are wide. So are the sites. Everything is clean and well-maintained. My only complaint is their cable TV is limited. Didn't matter that much, though, because we've got satellite TV.

This park has become our level of standard for other state parks that we’ve stayed at. Mainly ‘coz it’s got it all. Wide roads inside the park. Spacious private sites heavily packed with gravel. Spotless grounds. Great signal for satellite, cellphone and WiFi. Lots of beautiful hiking trails and biking paths. Friendly hosts. Really reasonable rates. Absolutely love it!

We’ve stayed in a lot of good KOAs in the past, but this is a cut above the rest. Long and spacious level sites. Some are paved while others are gravel. Sufficient space in between sites. Very clean and well-maintained grounds. Laundry and showers were very nice. Excellent Cable TV and WiFi connection. Peaceful and quiet. Highly recommended.

| As close to luxury as you can get | Blazing Star does come pretty close to being a true luxury resort. The grounds are well-manicured and the sites are all level and paved. There's also some landscaping in between sites to create a sense of privacy. The sites are also big and long enough to accommodate towed rigs and there are full hookups available as well as wi-fi and cable. Wi-fi isn't free, but you can avail of packages if you're a heavy Internet user. The bathrooms are also very clean. and well-maintained. Blazing Star is a good base for visiting sights like SeaWorld and River Walk, but if you don't feel like sightseeing, there's a lot of things to do in resort. They've got a game room, a playground, a field that serves as a dog park, horseshoes and a basketball court. Lastly, the people there, from the staff to our neighbors, were all very nice and friendly. It's worth coming here.

| Great Park - Tow a Vehicle with You | Super clean and very pretty park. Like most other county parks, there is no cable, sewer hookup, and pool. At least the dump station is conveniently located within the park. Campground host was so helpful and accommodating. Sites are paved with gravel. Very spacious and well-spaced from each other. Bushes and trees separate the sites so you get a lot of privacy here. Try to get site 13 when you can. This has got the best view of the jetty and the ocean. Roads inside the park are paved with asphalt. Showers and laundry rooms are very well maintained. The only reason why I didn’t give this a perfect score is the location. It’s not that close to town unless you bring your own car.

| Slightly better than the average KOA | Eureka KOA is an older park, but the staff has managed to keep it in good order. Some facilities do need to be repaired/replaced, though. Everything is neat and clean, and while we had some problems with low voltage on our site, the staff addressed that promptly by moving us to another site. Our site was a bit short for our big rig and toad, but we managed. Lots of activities for kids to do, but not much to do outside the campground. Full hookups with good cable and strong wi-fi signal. A bit overpriced for what we got, but we'll stay here again if we return to Eureka

| Affordable CG near Wineries | This is an okay campground if you're planning to stay in Napa Valley. Near the wineries and wine train station. It's pretty quiet here, some shade especially useful during the summer. Not all sites provide full hookups. Bathrooms need some upgrade. Near a recreation facility where you can do some archery, golf, and other stuff. Pretty pricey, but considering the cost of living in Napa, it's pretty okay

| Great park with great location | I would normally grumble at paying $30 per night at a campground that has no hookups or other amenities. Westside Park certainly doesn't have any and in parts it resembles a large parking lot, except for the area that has lots of trees. But the view of the bay is simply spectacular, so I ended up happy with what I paid for. The place is also clean, including the restrooms and showers, and the sites are bigger than what you'd typically find in other campgrounds. We didn't have any problems parking our RV. The location is also great, quiet but accessible. A short drive or bike ride will take you to nice dining options in the area.

| A truly topnotch RV resort | Our vacation at Motorcoach Country Club was one of the best we had in recent years. It's absolutely perfect, like staying at a five-star hotel. The grounds and landscaping are immaculate, the buildings and facilities spotless and well-maintained, the people we met - lot owners and staff alike - are all very friendly. The sites are big with lots of room. Hookups working perfectly. You have to pay for the Wi-Fi access, though. I loved staying here and I may consider buying property here as well.
