Out of all campgrounds I have stayed at, this one by far is my favorite! Great view of the giant trees. Flush toilet available. If you want to shower, you have to go to Lodgepole where, I think, it's $1.50-$2 for a 10-15 minute shower.

Stayed here for a week. Flush toilets/showers available. Showers not free. Also, laundry room is nearby with payphone. Not too much of cell signals. You will see a lot of elk walking around.

Only camped here cause it is near Tombstone. Flush toilets/showers available. Stayed for the weekend. No fires allowed. Does get really windy and hot. Tombstone is nearby, about 35 minutes away. We checked it out but wasn't worth it.

Great campground! All sites near the lake. Flush toilets/showers nearby. Cons - the price keeps going up. Mostly RVs and trailers camp there. But hey, it's on the lake with a great view

Lake Skinner is nearby. It's good for a quick, last-minute camping trip. There are flush toilets/showers nearby. Cons: YOU CANNOT GET IN THE LAKE! It's for fishing only. And the sites are way too close together

If you want to get away from the city noise, this is the campground for you. Have too do a bit of off-roading to get there but its very peaceful. No flush toilets or showers/water available. Hiking/biking trails nearby.

Stayed here many times. Not much of a getaway because campground is right next to Hwy 38 so you get a lot of traffic noise. Pros - the campground is near the lake and bike paths/hiking trails. Flush toilets/hot showers and some sites have power/water.

It's a great campground. I have stayed in both tent and pop-up trailer. Flush toilets/showers available. Near by lake and plenty of hiking trails. Big Bear Lake is about 20min away. Also got decent cell signal.
