	So-so campground in a spectacular place

We stayed here for one night in October 2014. There was a festival in the town on the weekend and everything was booked. The canpground and pier are showing their age and the wrath of hurricanes but everything did work and from our door to a beautiful beach was less than 50 yards. You will be parking on sand (with hard pan below so make sure you decent leveling pads to spread the load and hold your rig level. The people were friendly and the village of Holden Beach was fine, but there is very limited parking except for your campground space and the commercial area around the bridge. A good place for an overnight and we were at the end of the season but I believe it could be a madhouse in the summer months. We stayed here in a Travel Trailer.
