Quiet - Great Lake for Fishing and Kayaking
Robin Smith
Bronze
April 22, 2012
We stayed on site 78 in a tent. It was a bit exposed and right on the main road to the boar launch, but luckily there is not a ton of traffic to the boat launch. The restroom is a composting restroom so it does smell a bit. We really enjoyred our stay here. The boat to sites are all on the water and many have small docks.
We stayed here in a Tent.

Great Tent Camping Adirondacks

Great wildlife viewing. The Campground has limited RV sites, reserve ahead of time to guarantee your spot. Most camping spots are accessible by boat (ala canoe/kayak). Get there before noon to get the best water sites which are boat access only. Bear canisters are around - ask the ranger. It's primitive camping, but scenic and beautiful
We stayed here in a Tent.
