| Great Level Park, Beautiful Views, Very Nice Staff | |
This park is one of the best we've stayed at. We were here for a week in October. They close in November for the winter. Adjacent to the Ute Mountain Casino, you can walk to it in minutes. There is no alcohol anywhere on this reservation but free coffee, tea, sodas & popcorn, a ful restaurant with prime rib and crab leg buffets on the weekends and a small cafe. There is a clean indoor heated pool, spa & dry sauna, decent laundry, and very nice/clean showers. The pool/laundry/shower building closes at 5pm every day, which was a bummer but not a deal breaker. The free wifi works okay for email/Facebook but don't expect to watch Netflix. The security here is the best I've ever seen. Uniformed guards in marked vehicles patrol every hour.. They were friendly and professional and made us feel safe and welcomed. When we had to call maintenance to fix something and they came immediately; very professional. All sites are level, graveled, pull through. They have 30/50amp, water, elect., cable. Full hook up on some/ dump station for others, and a tent section. Each site has a nice grass area, beautiful trees, covered trash can (that they empty daily) picnic table & gorgeous mountain views. If the showers/laundry/pool building were open past 5pm and the wifi was better I'd have given 5 stars.
