We chose this SP since it was located about right as we spent a week crossing the country in our old VW Westfalia bus. The park is situated on the shores of a beautiful lake, with private development all around it. The developed sites were all taken, but the host directed us to a less developed site with power right on the lake next to a tired bathhouse. Bathhouse had not been serviced in a while, no hot water for showers that have seen better days. The park seemed fine for lake access and for those in RVs and with boats, but we would not stop there again. Host Larry was friendly and helpful, and sympathetic to our complaint about a non-camping noisy family pulling in at 3 AM to take showers in the bathhouse very close to our site. We suspect this SP is a victim of state budget cuts, too bad since the site is beautiful. | | Comments (0) |
