| Beautiful, Quiet, and Well Maintained Campground! | |
This campground has something for everyone! There is a nice little swimming beach within walking distance from the campground, there's also a small boat ramp. There is the beautiful Kawishiwi Pavilion, built by the CCC in the 1930s, available. The campsites are large and many of them have electric hookups.
We were in site number 005 for two nights over the July Fourth weekend. This site was very easy to back out 17 foot Casita trail trailer into. There is a ton of room behind the very level gravel parking pad! That is where the picnic table and fire pit is located, but there is also plenty of room for up to two tents as well.
I also loved the fact that you can reserve these campsites online and pay ahead. We did this and it went without a hitch. The site was already marked with our name when we arrived and we didn't have to do anything, just set up camp and enjoyed our weekend here. We will come back here again and will also recommend this one to all our camping friends.
The price was great at just $20 a night for electric hookups. And I know they give half off to those aged 62 and older with a pass.
We stayed here in a Travel Trailer. | | Comments (0) |
