The swimming hole at Ox Creek is a campground for tent campers looking for a private, safe spot to pitch a tent and relax in nature in a truly undisturbed environment. Bring your fishing pole or rent one of mine and try to catch one of our native trout, cook over the campfire or bring a grill, choose your spot, enjoy the natural spring water flowing off the mountain and see an unusually large beaver dam (Just don't disturb my little buddies or get too close). This is a great spot for bikers and hikers who enjoy bicycling on the Blue Ridge Parkway or hiking its many paths. We are located minutes from local area attractions such as the Blue Ridge Parkway http://www.blueridgeparkway.org/ Rattlesnake Lodge http://www.romanticasheville.com/rattlesnake_lodge_trail.htm and The Vance Birthplace http://www.nchistoricsites.org/vance/ If you tire of the great outdoors visit the best of small town life in Weaverville, NC.
