Local Directions: Located near Anderson, South Carolina, Exit 11 off of I-85. From Charlotte/Greenville, take Exit 11, turn right onto HWY 24 toward Townville/Westminster OR From Atlanta, take Exit 11, turn left at the T off of the ramp, at the next T (HWY 24) turn left toward Townville/Westminster. Go 2.5 miles and turn right (O'Neil Ferry Road) at out large lit sign. Go .5 miles and turn right (Ponderosa Point) at the sign. Go .5 miles and you will dead-end into the campground.

| We had a great time here. 2 Adults and 2 kids. While the fhu sites are a couple minutes walk to the lake, it was a nice walk. The bathrooms are the best I have seen in 15 yrs of camping and the pool was great for the kids. We did fishing and caught some good fish from a point on the lake. If you want a concrete pad type thing, this is not the place for you, but if you like camping a bit more rustic then it is great. They do have alot of amenities including wi-fi plus a computer room, if you forget your computer, plus lots of stuff to do for a few days. Great restaurant on the lake at Portman Marina a few miles away can be reached by road or lake. We will be back | | |  Comments (0) |
