Local Directions: From N (WA DC) (From WA DC we are approx 3 1/2 hrs drive): Take I-95 to Richmond. At the junction with I-64 take I-64 E towards Norfolk/VA Beach. Take Exit 220 to W Point. Follow the signs to and through W Point 13 mi. At the 1st traffic light after the last bridge, go straight across --this turns into Hwy 198. Follow 198 toward Mathews to the junction with Hwy 223 (towards Gwynn's Island, the Coast Guard station--there is a Zooms gas station at this corner)--Turn L and take 223 across the bridge and follow Old Ferry Rd all the way until just before it ends at the Bay. Turn R onto Buckchase Rd. The CG entrance and office is approx 3/4 of a mile on the L. Stop in at the office to check in.
