Transporting firewood
How do you transport firewood in your RV or trailer?

First off make sure there are no termites or worms in it. I had a load of wood in my storage bay and noticed little piles of saw dust. Got rid of it quick.

Re: Transporting firewood
It is against the law to transport firewood from some states to another, because if the spread of bugs that kill trees.
If you get caught transporting from Washington to Oregon or Idaho, there is a big fine andp possible jail time.
I live in Washington and am sure we burn everything and will only buy wood from the locals.

I've read a few articles of people who got arrested for transporting wood between states. The camper who got arrested was livid - he couldn't believe that he could actually be arrested for this sort of thing. But I guess it makes sense.
