Battery will not charge
We have a 2004 Aerolite Cub C 160. Our battery does not want to charge when we have the 110 volt plugged in. It should charge the battery. The battery won't charge. We've had the battery checked and they said the battery was good. When we unplug from 110 and go to the 12 volt system the lights won't work. Help!! what can be the problem??
Thanks for any help you can give us.............

Blown fuse in the positive battery lead near the battery?

Re: Battery will not charge
could be you tripped the circuit breaker between the battery and the converter/charger. this happens often when owners reverse the wires to the battery. this breaker is usually under the A-frame of the tongue.
either that or your converter is bad.

Re: Battery will not charge
Your battery appears to not be connected to the trailer.

There are battery protection fuses in most converters as well as a large fuse or breaker in-line somewhere between the battery and the converter. Check these.

Also check you've connected the battery correctly. Standard RV wiring is White (ground), Black (positive). If in doubt find the wire to the battery that's bolted to the frame. That's the negative (ground) connection. (It's possible a previous owner cobbled the wiring colors.) There's a label on our frame near the battery box. Hook the battery up backwards and the battery protection fuses should blow
