The answer would vary greatly, it depends on how & where you want to camp, or are you talking about Full Timing? Camping in a National Park or National Forest with a Senior pass can be as little as $7. a night, commercial campgrounds run anywhere from $20. up to $100. a night depending on amenities and location. Campgrounds or RV Parks are usually in the $30. to $50. range, an RV "Resort" can be in the $70-$100. range. Then there is Boondocking which is generally free, if you're set up to live off the grid. |

Thanks for your info, would you know their typical monthly charge as we are thinking one month stays would be good if we were to try full timing. |

Sorry, I wouldn't know the monthly rates as i've never been interested in staying anywhere for a whole month, (not even at home, but my wife wont let me sell the house). :) Most campground web site show the nightly rate, & monthly rate IF the have one, but be advised that monthly stays charge a metered electric charge just like at home. |

The cost of renting a campground for a fifth wheel varies based on location, amenities, and season. On average, you can expect to pay: - Basic Campgrounds: $25 - $50 per night - Mid-Range Campgrounds: $50 - $75 per night - Premium Campgrounds: $75 - $150 per night Rates can be higher in popular tourist areas or during peak season. Some campgrounds offer monthly rates or discounts for extended stays. |
