Taking long road trips is a great way to experience nature and all that it has to offer, but it can put a dent in your exercise routine. While you may not be able to follow your regular routine, there are other ways to stay fit whilst on the road. Fitness balls are a great way to keep in shape - they are fun, offer you lots of variety and are convenient!
Fitness balls allow you to workout and have fun while doing so! You can do different exercises from stretches to cardiovascular routines and even light strength training. Being able to easily workout different parts of your body keeps your routine interesting and exciting.
What's great is that everywhere you go can become your very own workout space. You don't even have to wait until you get to your final destination before working out. You can be parked up by the side of a Wyoming prairie, sitting in the car park of WalMart or comfortably hooked up at your RV site. All you need to do is inflate the ball and begin your workout right there in the RV!
Being easy to inflate and deflate makes fitness balls a really handy piece of equipment. You can store them pretty much anywhere, and bring it out when you're ready for your next workout.
Here are some simple stretches that you can take on the road with you. If you'd like more of a challenge perform a few of these exercises to get your blood pumping!
