Azalea has easy access to trails and to the main store just down the road. Sites are close together. The toilet is very basic and a walk from most sites in the tent loop. We were able to get a site very easily on a Monday in the summer.

Stayed here with a group of 4 over a weekend in July. You can walk to the lake easily. Some people even had their sailboats parked by the campgrounds. Campsites on the lake are reserved early on. Some toilets are pit and some are flush. Hosts were very diligent about keeping the bathrooms clean and stocked. This campsite has a great location next to the lake, but is definitely crowded. I would recommend ear plug for possible noisy neighbors.

Beautiful secluded campsite that has amazing views of the beach. It gets very windy at night so bundle up! Campsite had toilets and running water but showers were at the next loop. It's one of my favorites!!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a couple nights for the New Year. The campsite was surrounded by beautiful redwoods and there is a short hike to Eel River through a redwood grove from the campsite. Also, make sure to check out the Avenue of the Giants. It is quite wet so make sure to keep your firewood dry!

Had a huge site with views of the lake and an Osprey nest. It gets hot, so shade shelters are highly recommended along with a water jug. There is a water spigot in between the campsites and the entrance, but it's not obvious or close to the site. Be prepared to pay extra for dogs, people, and cars.

This is a beautiful campground amongst the redwoods. Near wineries and the Anderson Valley Brewery. :-) Plenty of space for hammocks. Reservations necessary for the weekends and weekdays in the summer!!

Very basic campsite in a beautiful canyon by the Colorado River. Amazing nighttime views. Right by the road, so you get some noise but traffic is very light at night. There are some campsites with shelter, but the area is very exposed to the hot sun. Campsite rates along the canyon were $15. 10 minute drive to arches.

The campground host was very accommodating and was able to find a spot for me even though the campground was full. Basic campground with a picnic table and an outhouse, but the friendly people made it feel special. Pretty high elevation (takes longer to boil water). It stormed while I was there and snow landed on the peaks around us. Beautiful views of the mountains.

| Beautiful view of the lake | This campground is right by the lake and perfect for catching the sunset. The campground hosts are a lovely couple who will give you advice on what to do around Glacier. Highly recommended for tent camping as generators and longer RVs are not allowed.

The higher numbered sites have more privacy and trees. The lower numbered sites are in a field-like area and have no privacy or shade (except for a canopy shelter at a few sites). The $20 seems overpriced for this site.
