A joke I don't consider this a RV park

If you don't sign up for a month or two after doing a credit check and if you don't sign a lease, you can't stop here.

Great, quiet little park

We really like this park. Owners are great people. Park's well-kept. most are gravel sites. Showers, library, two club houses, no pool. I didn't use the showers though. Great park for rallies. They have Good Sam rallies here.

People are very friendly

Nice park. Lots of citrus trees you can pick. Stayed 2 months close to Progresso, Mexico. Had implants price and work was very good. Lot of activities in park lots. Facilities where great laundry room was good. Pool tables, swimming pool heated in winter. Also, jacuzzi and plenty of shuffle boards. If you play an instrument, this park has a jamming session like other parks.

Why did it ever rate over 3 stars?

Passport America is why we decided to stay here. It still was $22 a night in a promo spot that doesn't exist in this park. It was built badly.They didn't understand how a campground should be built. Real small lots. Mostly lengthwise, 90 degrees to the road. Was built got oil boom well the bloom is off.
Employees are great. George, a 7 foot tall great guy. Wow, great man! All facilities are great. Didn't use showers. Big laundromat, new machines. Wide travel roads and gated.
Across the road is an industrial park. Very noisy weekends. You can hear Hwy 281.
For me, maybe an overnight stay. It is a Passport America half price $22 which means, the normal price is $44. Way too much at $44, too much for $22.

Really like this park but...

If the internet or WiFi was just better. Still, we plan on getting a booster and staying 3 months in the winter. Really nice park. Staff is great. Facility great. Laundry great and we used our own shower so I don't know about it. It doesn't seem like a county park.

Very good park

Nice park, friendly, people are very helpful. They don't want you to use washer/ dryer. I couldn't believe that. They said it's because of aerobic sewer system. I think they want you to use their 2 laundromats which is reasonable at $1. Library has get one, turn one in policy. Not a bad park. We had Passport America which made it better.

Can't get money back!

I reserved a site in this park in November 7 for Dec 20th for a week. I told them the size of my rig, gave them a $100. I got there but the site wasn't near big enough hung over into 2 roads. Other campers said that won't work. There were empty spots all over the CG, so I went up to office but they said it was basically take it or leave it. They didn't have any openings.
I've called back several times about my money to date but still haven't gotten it.
It's a dumpy looking park. This was their fault, not mine but they still won't give my money back. Guess I'm going to my credit card company now.

Very good park

We'd stay again here. It's on the San Marcos River. Lots of people were kayaking, rafting and tubing.
We parked in lot 118 where we could get satellite service.
In Fentress is Frank's restaurant which had great food.

Not really $25 a night.

Nice & quiet site this time of the year. We were one of the few here. Rate is $7/person/day for gate charges. Texas and other states do this also. That makes it almost $40.

Noisy traffic and trains

What can you expect on I-30.. Trains were a nice added factor at least every 30 minutes. For one night, it's not bad but not longer than that.
I was just passing through so we didn't do or go see anything. There's a Flying J as you pass. Has special pumps just for RVs which is great.

Adding a camp ground

How can I add a camp ground on pc?
I've done it before but can't now.
I'd love to see one camping search site have all the CG and
don't mind using my data to do it. Traveling FT hardest part
specially in the west or any where is finding a CG. I use 2 to 3 CG search sites.
