Campsites were all of nice size. Electric worked fine. The grass was not mowed for weeks. It was very quiet when we camped in a 35 ft RV with tent which was allowed. Shower house was only 1 that had 1 working shower but were not horribly dirty. Had 2 flush toilets the rest were pit toilets and were clean for pits. All the visitors at the walking trails could have been charged a few bucks for parking to help this state park maintain a nicer campground. Rather than run out of funding and not mowing the grass.

| Very nice, dog friendly and quiet. | Stayed on site #53 in a trailer. Site was large. All sites are first come first served. This is a large park with lots of site choices from shaded to open. Did not use any of the facilities other than the onsite water and electric. Cable TV is the only option since over the air, TV is not accessible. Verizon cell and hotspot internet worked well. The park is located a short walk from downtown. Nice dog run on the west side of the park and they are allowed on beach. Access to the lake is limited to multiple staircases but it all works out just fine and the beach is well worth the effort. We would stay here again!

| Quiet, beautiful lakefront | This park has a variety of sites. Most large sites are level. Showers are very clean. Lakefront sites are non-reservable, but they will let you move there as soon as they become available. We had sites 37 and 38. They are very nice, large sites for group camp. We could still see the lake but we're protected from the wind.

| Incredibly private spaces | Park is totally paved. Newer bath houses. The large, paved level sites have overgrowth for privacy. City drinking water. There are activities for the young ones and a great Halloween weekend. Many paved trails to walk on or ride bikes. Swimming is available but water is usually not good for swimming.

| Nice park, great hiking and canoeing | Park was nice, not many level sites though it said there were. We had site 42 and our 35 ft trailer was hard to get in the right spot but ended up being very nice with some shade. Bathrooms were brand new and very nice. Dump wasall new also, with 3 dump stations. Lake was nice and we hiked 8 miles. Trails are wide and there were not many hills.

| Very nice park. A lot to do, we biked, hiked and rented a SUP, we loved it. | Nice park, but road is not very wide to back up a big rig. Sites are short. Restrooms were very clean. We liked that we had many things to choose from. And we tried the stand up paddle boards for the first time.

| Nice, great hiking trails. | The campground itself could use some work. All the sites are gravel and there's no angle to them. If you have a larger rig, it's hard to get into the sites that most seem to be level. We came early in the year and they weren't even cutting the grass yet. The campground in April was half-full and first come first served. The trails are all very well marked and very nice to hike on.
