This is a brand-new park and possibly represents the parks we'll see in the future. The first thing you'll notice is no picnic tables, no fire pits or rings. Believe me, the park looks great without them! There is lush green grass at every site. It is well mowed and very neat, unbroken by tables and fire rings. How often did you use either when you traveled? The majority of the park is long term employed, predominantly 5th wheels on back-in sites. The park holds 10-12 pull through sites for overnight travelers so they don't have unhook. The park is clean to almost prim, and all sites are well kept. The park rules on their brochure include a simply stated "Three strikes and you're out policy." The rules are followed. Everyone likes the owners and the results of the rules, so they don't need enforcement. There is no Texas dust! The roads are double wide blacktop, the RV pads are level cement with blacktop aprons. The sites are very long. The site is half again as wide in the front. Once you are parked, this extra width will be your patio. The utilities are all part of a pagoda style pedestal and work well. Even the pedestal light works! There are lots of room around each site. The cable is very good, sharp and clear. The Wi-Fi works very well with a choice of three hot-spots. The bathrooms and showers are all-in-one and cleaned everyday. They smelled bleached clean and, though not fancy, were utilitarian and all we needed.

| Very quiet stop in Piney Woods | The Workampers who were experienced with this park tragically had to rush home to Louisiana where they lost their home to flooding. A new crew of very nice people are here working very hard at catch-up. This is a park cut into the piney woods of East Texas. The woods border the park and make landscaping and grounds maintenance very difficult. The soil is sand mixed with many millennia of pine needles and coaxing grass is a chore and a knack. This is still a nice park, we like it, but it is not as sharp as it was. There are a variety of sites. Be careful what you ask for, it can be expensive. All sites are gravel with well placed utilities. They are long enough to leave your tow attached. They are all level, packed gravel. There is a huge rectangular rally site with full utilities and rally hall. Some sites have cement patios with furniture, all have a picnic table and fire ring. There is also a dog pen that encloses trees; my dog thought it was great. Check-in at the office was easy and friendly the camp store is very nice. The grounds are well lit at night. The ubiquitous Kabins that we are familiar with are placed in the woods. A neat spot for a cabin stay. Much larger, self-contained Kabins, which are more like park models are scattered about the open RV sites. There is also a pool and small children's playground. My wife and I found hiking trails in the woods. Wi-Fi was very good, and cable was passable: ok on satellite

| Very new with great facilities and service | This park can be expensive, but we have a KOA Card and applied some accumulated points. It is very big, shiny, and new. This park is across the street from the Choctaw Casino/Hotel. The walk is not that bad. The casino/hotel is huge, everything was over the top. They book well known entertainment into their Grand Theatre, but besides the very obvious casino and its cacophony of electronic music and lights, there is also a movie theatre, bowling alley, arcade, and food court with many well known franchises. All this and a number of sit-down and order restaurants and lounges. It is the closest this family will get to Las Vegas. We stayed in the park for two days. The roads and sites are all cement, sites are level and very long. All sites are the same. The FHU utilities are very convenient and well placed. Watch the water pressure! The Wi-Fi is excellent and cable is very clear with over 75 channels. There is very attractive landscaping, lots of lush green lawns and shrubs, but no mature trees. Summers must be real cookers. Each site has a pedestal mounted grill and patio with a table and umbrella and chairs. There is a very nice pool with lounges and accessories. Next to the pool is a play lot for children. There is also a twin dog park with separate gates. You can pick out the permanent residents by their outside clutter, but they were not unsightly.

| Great overnight, stay another day | This is a travelers KOA. Our traveling practice is to stay two days when we stop. So, we have watched this campground fill and then empty. It is a very nice KOA, not just a destination. This is not a huge park, I would call for availability. Check-in was easy and friendly with the owners in a really well stocked camp store. There were souvenirs, as well as lots of basic RV supplies. The grocery selection was the basics, but still fresh and attractive. I was able to buy milk which is always my litmus test of a good camp store. The sites were very neat and clean with well placed utilities. There was a picnic table and shade at the sites, neighbors were close but not imposing. For cable TV there were 65 clear channels with no hassle. Wi-Fi bogged down sometimes but over all was good. The roads and sites are gravel, but all around is lush grass. The trees and lawns are verdant and surround the children's playground. It has a clean and well maintained pool. There are lots of benches, tables and chairs in the green space. There is even a small catch and release pond just for kids' fun. A "Nature Trail" has been cut into a bordering woods that offered extensive walks because it was cut as a labyrinth with paths going in every direction. The laundry looked very nice, clean and well equipped. The real "knockout" were the bathrooms. They are outstanding, or maybe that is astounding.

| Better than most RV Parks adjoining casinos | This park is often listed as Seneca. MO. It is West of there, a few hundred yards into Oklahoma and is part of the Eastern Shawnee Nation. The adjoining casino is the "Indigo Sky Casino". This seems to be a very successful enterprise, it is jaw dropping beautiful with fountains and statuary and flower gardens. The grounds are neat and clean and always being maintained. The hotel is very big and grand with Southwest themed decorations and much to see. There is a restaurant that features a different buffet every night. The food is good! Also a food court. And, of course, a big noisy, flashing casino. There is an outdoor pool which you can use as an RV guest. All that said the RV park has some shortcomings, but remember it is $15.00 a night. All sites are water and electric only and these utilities were conveniently placed and very good. Everything is back-in, even the dump station is back-in. There is an office in the RV park but it is not always manned. Pick a spot and go up to the hotel to register. Very easy, very friendly. There are 45 sites most, not all, are merely painted lines on an asphalt parking lot. All are numbered and well designed and each backs up to its utilities, but if you want grass on either side of your unit drive around and check for the few that have lawns designed around them. We did. There are no fire rings or picnic tables at the sites.

| Perfect for activities at Mizzou also walking KATY trail | This is a great RV Park, there is a lot that can be said...with one caveat. This is a large park that is clean and neat. It is being maintained constantly. Check-in was easy at a very nice store/gift shop/ office. They actually had a lot of products in stock, both food and camping supplies as well as souvenirs and gift items. We were able to buy milk!! The grounds are manicured with a lot of flowering shrubs and plenty of shade trees. There is a large covered picnic pavilion with a big, big fire pit and lots of tables and grills. There is a pool that is clean and looked very inviting, though we didn't try it. Also, a children's playground that looked new. Nearby was a very nice wooden gazebo for just relaxing out in the sun and enjoying the flowers. Each site has a picnic table and the front row sites each have a chimenea, but open firepit fires are not allowed. There is also a rally room and one of the nicest recreation rooms I have encountered with real exercise equipment, book/dvd exchange, tables and chairs for just getting together. The bathrooms are clean and well appointed, the showers were hot, though I believe the shower enclosures needed some scrubbing...probably hard water. Basins, mirrors and countertops were all squeaky clean. The "Heads-Up" for this campground: the roads are narrow, and the sites are tight, making for very shallow turns. Get the walkie-talkies you use for back-ins and send your navigator out

| Quiet and relaxing break from driving | This is a very nice old park. Good service with good facilities, clean and neat, all very well maintained. Check-in was easy with helpful owners who live in homes adjoining the park. Gravel roads and pads. The spaces are close, but not impossible. Hookup was well placed and easy. Lot of old growth trees, lots of shade with additional plantings and landscaping. There is spacious grass for walking, but area between spaces is pretty much all gravel with a hint of grass. There is no cable. Turn your antenna like everyone else and you'll get adequate OTA channels. Wi-Fi was good in our site #5, near the office. Laundry is very reasonable, but only 2 of each. Bathrooms are dated but sparkling clean, comfortable and even decorated. Walking trails have been cut into the woods. It is a real walk in the woods as the trails are a little rough, but interesting. All this said, I now must add that a reservation is recommended. This park is almost all filled with long term employed. The trailers are neat with some long-term clutter like large furniture pieces and big freezers outside. There is some order to long-term placement vs travelers. Everyone appears to be working but it is quiet and controlled. Trailers as family homes seems to be a sign of our times. This is a relaxing stop from hours of driving. It is not a resort. It is a safe, secure and quiet spot along the way. We'll be back.

| Location to Chicagoland is big plus | Besides being a beautiful park, this is as close as you can get to Chicagoland with a FHU RV park. I-88 to the city is nearby in DeKalb and the Metra is 20 mins away in Elburn. If there was nothing else, its location would make it worthwhile. This park features two small lakes, about a mile and a half around the two. Small boats are ok, fishing is catch and release. There is a big sandy beach on one lake with a buoy roped swim area. Also, paddle-boats. The owners have resisted putting camp sites around the lakes, but most would have. The walks around the lakes are clear, improved, very pretty, with picnic tables, and flowers. All the RV areas are level, gravel with easy hookup to very convenient pedestals. All sites are back-in, end-to-end, but because the sites alternate, like a checker board, everyone has their own area. Each site has some shade, a picnic table, and fire ring. The lack of grass at the individual sites is more than covered by the acres of beautiful green lawns. Always mowed and ready for a barefoot walk, because everyone picks up after their dog. The park is too beautiful not to! The flowers and shrubbery are very professional. You'll find yourself just walking and asking, "What is this?" There is one walkway with different flowering shrubs on each side. All of this is kept clean, neat, and groomed every day. There are permanent trailers that are used on the weekends and summer vacations.
