| Decent place for a weekend | This no frills campground has electricity at the sites. The sites are small to decent size depending on the selection. Two things that stand out: availability two days prior to a 4th of July weekend and lots of hiking trails.

| clean lots, and lots of hiking trails | All the RV lots are paved and some are handicap accessible, making it easy to set up and maneuver around. Water and electric sites are available, no full hookups although there is a dump-station and clean shower facilities. I would easily stay here again although the $10 entrance fee for out of state visitors (one time if camping) seems a bit high. Explore the various hiking trails as they are the gems of this park. The beach is nice but the view kinda takes the stars down from 5 to 4 as you see the smoke stacks from nearby Gary, IN. Would definitely stay here again.

| mostly full timers but not bad | This is a park mostly set up for "park models." An RV sales center selling park models is attached to the park. Selling the RVs along with what looks to be deeded sites seems to be the focus here. There is a weekender area and we ended up staying a larger space (X-1) which is intended for a full timer. The space itself was spacious and good if you have dogs. The space was literally next to the dumpster but it didn't bother us much. After looking at the normal spaces for weekenders, I would probably not go back as they are small pull-throughs that don't have a lot of room. The roads are skinny and take some extra caution when maneuvering around. The staff seemed good and accommodating; the amenities looked good although we mostly stuck to our site. Overall a very shaded park on a nice lake although after exploring other nearby State Parks I would try to go to those first before returning to Fish Lake. Not a bad place at all, just not that setup for weekenders as much as full-timers.

| good park, all the basics covered | This is a good RV park with plenty of amenities including a dog run, laundry facilities, LP gas, many full hookups, but lacks in space for the sites. All in all, I'd go back if I couldn't find space at the local state parks. Nothing wrong with it, just a but small for my tastes.

| private and quiet RV park | Situated in St. George island Tate park, this place is great web looking for a relaxing place to enjoy your stay in the area. Sites were decent size and for our 31' trailer no problem. Be ready with a lot of mosquito spray as this place had plenty of them!

We came here expecting a great place and we were not disappointed! Great waterfront sites on the Atlantic. We were lucky as this place books up many months in advance but the website stated it was closed due to construction...it's almost closed but not quite yet! Using the old fashion phone helped make a great RV vacation even better. Will be back for sure.

| family friendly and picturesque | set on a beautiful lake, many sites including ours this trip have a nice view of the lake. There is plenty to do including hiking, swimming (indoor pool and outdoor lake), fishing, etc. Everyone we met was friendly and the staff was very accommodating. We've already make plans to go back in a month! I'd recommend it to anyone especially if they have children as there is plenty to do. Pet friendly too!

Lots of space and plenty to do. Do sites with reliable 30 amp electricity but no city water hookups. I'll definitely go back.

| Picturesque site on the Mississippi | On our second trip with out new Ever-Lite 31RBK travel trailer, we went to Pettibone Park this past Memorial Day weekend. We had a great site (101) and enjoyed everything about it including our very friendly neighbors. The site had plenty of room, the electric and water worked without issue and the cable hookup was just a bonus (standard def only). The only reason this was not a 5 star was b/c of the lack of enforcement with a group that had a dog off leash that loved to wander around to visit other sites. I have two dogs and both were on leashes at all times per the rules posted. Their dog wasn't the problem but the owner was who continued to allow for the dog to roam. To the managements credit, we only let them know on the last day but I can't imagine we were the only ones concerned about this. Other than that, a great place to go with some very spacious sites and plenty of friendly neighbors made this a "go to" site!
