| Very friendly staff, wonderful park with amenities. | We enjoyed a week-long stay here during our winter trip to TX. We enjoyed FHU, pet friendly, wifi available in the clubhouse. Sites were large, there were plenty of trees around for shade. Close to town and a large Wal Mart. Staff were all friendly and the guest there were like neighbors at home. Looking forward to our next trip to TX.

| Wonderful rv park near Canyon Lake and next to the river. | We stayed for a week while touring the neighboring towns of New
Braunfels and Fredricksburg and San Antonio. Plenty of things to do. Large pull through sites with trees for shade and privacy. Good wifi. We look forward to our next visit there.

| Very nice park, a great rest stop off the interstate. | We were on our way to visit Big Bend but we needed a nice restful overnight stop along the way. This park had friendly staff, pet friendly, and provided all the things we needed before we headed south to Big Bend. They even provided dinner and a breakfast so we didn't have to cook. Big pull through sites are available with FHU. Will definitely stop there again when we are in the area.

| A great rv park on the banks of Lake Conroe. | We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Castaways. Great staff, very helpful. They had suffered damage from a hurricane within the past year but they were almost back up to full capacity. Amenities were super, location was convenient to Houston with all their sites. We are looking forward to our next trip to the area so we can again visit with the staff and guests at Castaways.

| Wonderful view, great vacation spot. | We were lucky enough to get one of the great pull-thu sites with FHU's. The views were spectacular. Each site had a picnic table and fire grill. Pet friendly area with trails. Far enough off the main highways it was not crowded. Quiet at night. Great fishing lake. Close enough to a city for groceries and shopping. We would definitely enjoy another stay here.

| One of our favorites, all up in the trees. | We have stayed at several of the sites, found all to be pleasant and enjoyable. For a state park with only electric hookups available at all the sites makes for a very pleasant and enjoyable overnight or weekly stay. The vault toilets are well-maintained, water is available at several locations along each road, and the pay-for-use showers are large and immaculate. Washers and dryers are also available. Some of the tallks and demonstrations presented in the outdoor area were fascinating and very informative, be sure to take in the one about bears, you will learn a lot. All the sites have picnic tables w/benches and a fire grate. Sites are all paved and level. With all the trees each site is private and unique. We enjoy every stay here.

| Easy access to the interstate, restful respite. | Plenty of nice pull-through sites although there were some trees that could create a problem for high vehicles. A nice quite area to spend a few days or just overnight. Electricity levels were low, would not support an A/C during certain parts of the day. We enjoyed our stay there.

| Beautiful setting, well maintained campground. | Multiple pull-through sites, beautiful setting with trails and bridges and ponds and a small stream. very well maintained, pet friendly, a quet and restful stop. Staff is friendly, a great place for an overnight stop or a few restful days to enjoy CO. Need to bring cash as they do not accept credit cards. Enjoyed our stay.

| Next to Blue Mesa Reservoir, beautiful Gunnison area. | A wide variety of sites, mostly back-in sites but a few pull-thrus. Some of the sites have nice tree coverage for shade. Easy access to Blue Mesa, Gunnison, Crested Butte, and the Black Canyon of the Gunnison. A great place to spend a few weeks in the summer in CO. Cell phone coverage is somewhat spotty. Wifi is through the Tengo system. Road noise is at a minimum. A private Western Horizons campground with AOR and ROD connections. Stayhed many times just overnight as we were passing through the area, enjoyed every stay.

| Wide variety of sites. Some nestled in the trees. Private resort. | Wide variety of sites, some on large flat gravel parking lot, some nestled in the trees. Great fishing in private pond. Wifi coverage is fair to good. Swimming pool/hot tob, recreation room, movies, outdoor activities. The shower rooms are nice and convenient to all sites. Trails for hiking, friendly for pets. The nearby highway noises could get distracting sometimes. A Coast-to-Coast/ROD private campground, nice place to rest for a few days or a few wseks.
