Campground is just across the street from Avery Island. It's a really nice place - clean grounds, nice pool, big playground. Full hookups on decently sized and spaced sites, plus fast and free wi-fi. We're sure to stay here again whenever we're in the area.

This RV park caters mostly to guests using the casino, so if you're not gambling, you may be missing out on the amenities. Gravel sites are all wide and pull-through and services worked well. Roads are paved.
But if you are, it's a pretty exciting place to be. There's always something going on, and the buffet at the casino is excellent. The park can be noisy at night.

| Nice enough campground near the highway | This park is close to the highway so you can expect a little road noise. Wi-fi is spotty, cable was just ok. Site was too small for my liking. On the plus side, this park is close to the popular attractions in the area, the people are friendly, the facilities are clean and well-maintained, and it's very dog-friendly.

| A good place for staying overnight | We only stayed the night here, so we couldn't say much about the facilities. But from what we've seen, it's a good enough park. Clean and well-kept. Mostly permanent park models with some RV sites. The sites are too close and feel closed in. It's quiet, though.

Most of the padded sites with shade have been taken already by long-term residents. Make sure that you check first your site for electricity before really setting up. The first site that we got didn't have any electricity. Thankfully, the camp host allowed us to check out other sites (we had to go through 6) to find one that had any electricity. Downside about the site though is that it's not shaded and quite a way's off from the bath house. Still, not bad as a stopover for the rate they charge.

| Quite Challenging Getting in and Around the Campground | For starters, the name suited the campground perfectly. There were a lot of pine trees around. It's also very clean and well-kept. The owner and the staff are so gracious and friendly. The roads leading inside the campground is rather narrow and so were the sites. You'd probably not have a problem if you got a small unit, but those that own rather large rigs will definitely find going in and around the place rather challenging. WiFi reception was not a problem. The only negative point about this campground is that it is very difficult to find, even if you use the directions that they provided in their site. Would be really helpful if they labeled their entrance a little bit better.

| Good Campground for TT Members | If you have a TT membership, this is a good campground to stay. The campground is spacious, although some of the amenities need some repairs and repainting. The staff and the owners here are very helpful and accommodating. We got a site that was right along the Skykomish River and it was fairly level. It's gated so you do not have to worry about security. The river drowned any possible road noise that there may have been so it's really quiet here at night. There are a lot of trees around the area. On one hand, it's good since they provide a lot of shade. On the other, it makes it a bit challenging to get a good satellite dish and WiFi reception. Lots of activities to do with the kids. Roads here are a bit narrow and hilly so be prepared for a challenging drive.

If you haven't tried this campground yet, you are definitely missing a whole lot. This campground is neat, clean and orderly. There are a lot of great walking and bike trails around the campground as well as open areas for the kids to run and enjoy themselves. Satellite dish and cellular phone reception are great. Sites here are paved, spacious, long and level with a lot of pull throughs. All of the sites have picnic tables and fire rings. The staff is great and friendly and helpful. I'd definitely keep coming back.

| A small campground with tight sites | If you have a big rig, you will want to think twice about staying at this park. The sites are too small so you probably won't have a lot of space around your rig. Parking and maneuvering your rig will be a challenge too. Other than the size of the sites, the campground itself is adequate for short stays. There are full hookup sites available, but most of them are taken by permanent residents. These permanent residents are nice people, though, and they keep their spots neat and clean. There's wi-fi but no cable TV. The people at the office are among the friendliest I've ever met.

This RV park is a very peaceful place, even in the daytime. The only sounds you'll hear constantly are the sounds of the sea lions and the waves crashing against the rocks below. The views are great if you choose a site near the bluffs. Otherwise, the redwoods would obscure your view. Full hookups are available, with good wi-fi and cable. Water pressure is a bit low, though. The facilities, such as the shower and bathrooms, are a little older, but still work as they should. The owner lives on-site, is quite helpful and is always available for questions or for a chat. We'll return here when we can.
