| A wonderful campground for small RVs | This park was nice and clean. Paved roads, larger sites but no hookups. We're self-contained and enjoyed our visit plus the hike over to Cliffside Lake. Showers and flush toilets were clean with plenty of hot water. Nice location close to Highland, NC.
We stayed here in a Class C Motorhome.

| One of the best campgrounds | I'm surprised that no one has written a review of this campground owned and operated by the City of Hiawassee. The office staff were very helpful. We had a site one row over from the water with a beautiful view. Neighbors were not too close. Bath facilities were clean. We liked everything about the park and plan to come back an spend more time there.

| Another great National Park campground | First of all, you have to like NP campgrounds - lots of space between sites, dump site but no water or electric at the sites so you have to be self contained. Yes, showers and flush toilets and water available at the facility. Lots of trees, trails and a creek for tubing. Lastly, the price is right.
We'll be back next year.

We found the sites to be a comfortable size with adequate privacy from our neighbors. We used the park bath and shower facilities which were nice and clean. The trails were great for hiking and the scenery was beautiful. There is a very classy interpretive center which is a must to visit. We will definitely go back again

The good - the park had a lot of employees and the facilities, laundry, showers and office/camp store were very clean and nicely taken care of. The location is on a main road and very close to Cherokee. The not so good - the site was small and very close to our neighbors. The roads were gravel which through usage has been pulverized. This is a large park with a lot of traffic. The weather was dry with no rain and there was a lot of dust every time a car or truck drove by. And forget the wifi - we never could get on. We would not go back again.

| Very interesting State Park | On both sides of the inlet. The park office is open 24 hours a day so here is no gate or code. Very nice bath facilities. Great place for fishing and swimming. Park has a Fish Museum. The RV sites are a little on the rustic side and consist of waterfront pull-ins, marsh-front back-ins and pull-thru in the middle. Be sure and bring some bug spray.

| Our favorite place in the Keys | We had a very private pull-in site with a full on view of the water. Doesn't get much better than that! Great place for swimming and snorkeling. Staff was friendly. Bath facilities were exceptionally clean. Not much in the way of TV unless you are on satellite. We will we definitely be back again - in the off season.

| Closest RV park to Key West | Nice level site with a view of the water. Didn't get to the pool but it did look nice. The staff was very friendly and the bath facilities were clean. Even though the bus was at the corner we rented a car and enjoyed both the park and Key West. Cable worked and wifi at the office.

This is a small park with groomed sites right on the water. Just a short walk to a larger park area with swimming beach and more bath facilities. Staff was very friendly. Would definitely stop here again and spend more time.

| Another older MHP now catering to RVs | Very nice pool, laundry and bath facilities. We arrived late on Sunday and had previously made reservations with the 800 number. Guard at the gate and the office was closed. Fortunately this is a Passport park so the price was right. Site was level grass where a MH had been removed. Cable TV but no wifi.

Don't know where 'near Las Vegas' is. Boulder City , Parumph or ? A lot of the casinos have camp grounds, like Sam's Town on Boulder Hwy. The sites are inexpensive and they will let you say for 14 days. Check it out.
