Road in is "washboardie" but only 3 miles, just take it slow. We were there in mid-April and at 5600 feet it was cool at night with periods of wind. Grass areas and a spring makes it nice. Real quite place and very little traffic. Not much to see or do but if you like quiet and or hiking for a few days...

Paved access road. Spaces are mostly large and pull thru but gravel. No generator use. Nice toilets and wash facility. Areas around campground are off limits to dogs and no designated area to walk them. Lower portion of campground for tents only, upper portion RV or tent. Dump station and water at entrance.

NPS campgrounds. $10.00 a day or $5 for seniors. Spaces are partially paved and gravel. Most are small and not very level. Some traffic noise so try to find a space away from main road if that would be a problem for you. Surprised that there are no walking trails but you can just take off through the desert if you want. Ok for a stop over but unless you are a boater no reason to come here. During winter months restaurant and lounge closed. In the summer hotter than hell and no hook ups unless you take a space in the commercial park at about $40.00 a night. Very little lake access and no shoreline camping. The few beach areas are day use only and one does not allow dogs.

Up on a ridge at 7500 ft. Large sites with fire ring; some have tables. Vault toilets. No water, dump or trash service. Close to several lakes. Road is paved up to campground. Camp host on site. Stay 14 days free!!

Clean and well kept. Poor site layout, many sites turned so entry door opened to street. Our fire ring was only about three feet from road. The 120 day limit is with a wink and nod. Homesteaders still there, at $13 a day they won't leave. Wifi is useless. The place is okay for stop over on your way to somewhere else.

Just a patch of grass along the highway. 50 amp hook ups and water system look fairly new. Stopped for an overnight for $25.00. Pretty country.

Small park surrounded by farms. $30 for 30 amp, $35 for 50 is too high for this park. Facilities are "low rent". No alcohol allowed was a deal breaker, but I was too tired to move on so we spent one night. Park was clean and wifi worked good.

| Nice grass fields, clean. | Very noisy. Highway and train next to park, train horn several times at night. Lots of dusty traffic on interior roads mostly from park maint. Facilities are old and run down. Won't recommend.
