No hook-ups, TV, phone, or wi-fi. Great campground with a beautiful river flowing through it. Good hiking trails. Not too far from Sisters if you miss civilization.
We stayed here in a 5th Wheel.

| Favorite RV Park on the coast | Been going here for many years. Fairly isolated sites. Close to Mendocino, Noyo Harbor, and Ft. Bragg. Good water and power, but Wi-Fi leaves a lot to be desired.

| Nice roadside State Park. | Most Oregon state parks are great and this one is no exception. There's water and power at the campsite and a dump station when you leave. Lots of grass and trees right alongside the John Day River. It's a good stop for a day or two. Some noise from the highway, but not a lot of traffic.

| Rustic campground with hook-ups and pvt sites | This campground sits back a few miles from the Columbia river. Quiet with good wifi and hook-ups. Was a little tricky pulling the 5th wheel up the gravel slope to the camp site since my truck is 2-wheel drive, but we made it with a running start Caution on the tunnels on the road to the east of the campground turnoff.

| Favorite park in the Portland area | Great base to visit the Portland area. Be sure to call well ahead for reservations. Very clean and well maintained. Nice laundry room with a separate laundry for pet blankets and towels.

| My favorite campground near Florence, Or. | Beautiful campground with lots of hiking trails. No water or power but there's a dump station at the State Park up the road. There's some noise from dune buggies nearby, but they are not allowed in the campground.

| Great park - short walk to the beach | We stayed here several years ago and weren't happy with the neighbors sewer connection near our trailer door. There are new owners now and the park is in great condition. Plenty of room for hiking and walking the dog. We stayed in a water/power only site so we didn't have the sewer drain problem this time.

| Good location on the Klamath river | The good things about the park are: Lots of grass, clean restrooms and showers, nice walking trail thru the forest, and close proximity to the river jet boats and the Redwood park. Negative issues:. WiFi is useless, sites are so close together that the awning of the trailer next to us was about 1" from our trailer, the voltage at the 30-amp sites was running at less than 104 volts during mornings and evenings. My surge protector cut the power so often that I had to disconnect the electricity. We paid for 4 nights, but left after 3.

Older park located in a pine forest. Very clean and pine needles are swept up daily. Level, pull-thru spots for most locations. Friendly staff and for a small fee they will walk your dog 3 times a day. Wi-Fi was a little iffy but worked well during low demand times.

We chose this park because it was slightly inland and out of the fog. Also, the pictures on their website showed green grass and good spacing between sites. They also stated that they wouldn't accept any RV older than 2006. In actuality, the spacing is very tight and many of the RVs look like they haven't moved in 20 years. On the good side, the park host was very friendly and helpful.
