| Highway noise unbearable, unsanitary bathrooms, sites are large, clean | Bathrooms and showers are primitive, unsanitary. Most sites are large and clean. Best features: Walking distance to lake, it's the only campground that's not fully booked, lots of restaurants and activities nearby. Mix of renters and RVs.

| One of the best parks we found | Many tent sites in woods, very private, wonderful RV sites in the trees as well. Location is perfect for touring Acadia National Park. Free shuttle bus comes every half hour. Large pool. 7th night free. We enjoyed our site overlooking French Bay. View only. No reservations but if you arrive between 9 and 1pm you will find a site.

Park is perfect for short stays as there is no site water or sewer hookups. Located on large lake 4 miles from small town. Spacing between rvs twice normal pvt parks. Lots of green grass and paved roads. Boat launch, nearby local food/bar, pay showers, and perfect for kids. $19/NY first-come first-served.

Great stop on the Missouri river on protected slough with large grass park popular with locals. Very peaceful. Power at each site water available and dump station. $16/night. 10 spaces, no manager. Drop box. Tennis courts.

We arrived and were surprised there were 90-plus sites but no occupants. No management and no landscaping. It looked as if someone was in the process of creating a park. Next to a commercial rock source.

Park is located along the Platte River but sites are a long walk to the river. The park's best quality was it was cheap at $22. Zero landscape and all river gravel. Most occupied sites are long term for working residents. Not designed for touring RV's. There was 10 lbs water pressure.

Park is located on steep slopes with dirt roads. There are many sites on busy highway with no care for landscaping. Pool is a joke. Very small plastic pool. We couldn't open awning because it was half way into adjacent site. No cable or internet.

| It's all you can expect in the desert | Good one-night stopover. Clean gravel road with pull through but call ahead because park is small. Park has two fishing ponds dyed blue. Small swimming pool. No dead long term rigs.
