Surprisingly Nice Park

We were at the end of a long day, headed for Twin Falls, when we passed Cactus Petes - it looked inviting so we pulled in. Sure glad we did! All sites have grass, electricity, and water, plus some have sewer dumps. Very inexpensive (we paid $22). The casino has good restaurants, plus there's a "general store" right across the highway. We will make this a definite stop on our journeys through the area.

My Favorite RV Park (seriously!)

My wife and I have been here several days, and we don't want to leave (although we must). We love the beauty and the peace and quiet here. If the staff were any friendlier, I'd adopt them - especially Tony and Cherry, the camp hosts, imported from Britain. The sites are roomy, and most have grass, water and electricity - (there is a nearby sewer dump). Very near the South Fork of the Snake River. Facilities are clean and very well-maintained. Lots of places to walk the dogs.

A Real Gem in Bakersfield

We love this RV park! The sites are beautiful, lots of green grass, concrete pads, etc. Full services, including great WiFi... Fenced dog park, plus access to a great trail along the river (our two big dogs loved it). Walking distance to several good restaurants. Friendly staff. Please...do NOT be put off by having to drive through a commercial area - this park is a garden spot.

Good park, as you'd expect from KOA

It's hard to go wrong with KOA. This park is a good example: semi-private sites (bushes & trees separate the sites), fenced dog area, friendly people, very clean. Sites are packed earth, but level and nicely graded. Everything works. Quiet.

Welcoming, full-service RV Park

We chose this park primarily because it gives a substantial discount for Veterans... plus active duty military are FREE! The people are very friendly and helpful, the park is clean and offers full amenities (wi-fi, dog area, cable, etc.). It's outside Gallup, and fairly quiet. Perhaps not a destination resort, but certainly enjoyable for a few days.

Great Place to Stay

In the Amarillo area, this is one of (if not the) best places to stay. Very quiet, concrete parking areas, first rate - and FRIENDLY - service. Good dog area, plus other places to walk dogs. WiFi, cable, etc. Clean, neat. Highly recommend.

OK for an overnight stay...

If you want an RV park near (but not in) Dallas, this is a good choice. Not a destination spot, however - spaces are very close, more than half the park is mobile homes and a lot of permanent RVs. However, the facilities are decent, price is good, and the people are wonderful! Good fenced dog area. WiFi works well. No cable, but good TV reception over the air. Reasonably quiet.

Truly an RV Oasis

Excellent service, including "to the site." Sites are decent-sized, semi-private, with full hookups, including cable TV and WiFi. Apparently during the "snowbird" season there are a lot of fun activities. Amenities are too many to list, but the heated pool goes to the top of the list. Pet-friendly.

Great RV park for an overnight or longer stay

The office staff is wonderful! The sites are well-maintained, full hookups, and easy to get in and out of. As others have mentioned, the FREE breakfast is a treat. Pet-friendly with a fenced area. WiFi throughout the park. Pool was closed for season, but hot tub was available. Will definitely return.

Friendly, spacious, convenient

We like this park - the staff is friendly & helpful. The sites are wide with full hookups and cable TV. WiFi is strong. Considering it's Texas plains, there is a nice amount of landscaping. Indoor heated pool, jacuzzi, & sauna. Fenced pet area is large enough for big dogs, plus there's plenty of nearby areas for longer dog walks. Facilities are spotless. Close to town and several good restaurants. There is even free Limo service to the nearby Big Texan Steak House - delicious food in a fun atmosphere. Veteran-friendly (better discount even than Good Sam.)
