| Basic but great value and experience Florida wetlands | Nothing exciting about this park, but it is well maintained and the campground hosts are very friendly. There are full hookups available on some of the sites, so you may wish to call regarding availability of full hookups. This is a county-run park and so there is strict adherence to office hours. WiFi was available but iffy at times. The wildlife in this park is amazing. A true preserve. Just a short drive into historic downtown Ft. Pierce.

| Enjoy history and explore a salt marsh | This park is nestled within a salt marsh. Very pretty. The park is very clean and the campground hosts are helpful and attentive to guests. It is quite a ways away from shopping and dining, so it is a good idea to stock up on supplies before checking in. The park also maintains a Civil War fort that you do not want to miss. South of the "gnat" line, so don't forget bug spray.

Quite of few seasonal residents here. Sites are quite large for an urban park. It is clean and quiet, despite being under the landing path of a small municipal airport.

| Great neighbors, friendly staff and beautiful setting | This was our maiden voyage stop in our new "home." Really didn't know what to expect, but the staff was helpful with arranging our sites and need to extend our stay. The camp store has all kinds of supplies at really reasonable prices. Brevard County Parks & Recreation runs this campground and do it with quality and fine customer service. One neat thing about this campground is that it is on the shores of the Indian River, and looking east you can see NASA's Cape Canaveral and the vehicle assembly building. Just sit on the banks of the river, look east, and take pride in all the fantastic years of the USA space program.
